* Farishtey (EMRI ) IEM College & Agrsain Balika Siksha Sadan School *Date:* 19 & 20th September,2024 *Participants:* 200 Thalir & 80 Yuva students *Organized by:* YI Kolkata Road Safety Team *Key Facilitator:* Dr. Raj Bharath(EMRI) --- *Session Highlights:* The YI Kolkata Road Safety Team, in partnership with EMRI, successfully conducted a comprehensive Farishtay session at IEM college, The 3 hour training, attended by 70 participants was expertly led by Dr. Raj Bharat. *Key Topics Covered:* - *Samaritan Law:* Understanding the legal protections for those providing emergency care. - *General Principles & Hand Techniques:* Basic emergency response protocols. - *Trauma Injury Management:* Methods for addressing serious injuries on-site. - *Bleeding Control & Splinting:* Techniques for managing severe bleeding and stabilizing fractures. - *Lifting & Moving Techniques:* Safe methods for transporting injured individuals. - *Hands-Only CPR:* Life-saving resuscitation techniques without mouth-to-mouth contact. *Feedback:* The session received overwhelmingly positive feedback from the participants, who praised the practical insights and hands-on approach of the training.
