On 10th August, the Accessibility Team Kolkata teamed up with the Thalir and Learning teams to host an incredible awareness event at Oxford Bookstore, with 3⃣0⃣ kids, 2⃣0⃣ parents 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦, and 1⃣0⃣ members 🎉 joining in! We kicked off with a super fun activity where everyone was blindfolded 😎 and asked to perform tasks like writing ✍️, drawing 🎨, pouring water 💧, and navigating around the room 🚶‍♂️🚶‍♀️. It was a real eye-opener 👀—the challenges were real and helped everyone gain a deeper understanding and empathy for those with visual impairments. 🌍💡 After that, we had an amazing storytelling session with Swati Saraogi 📚✨, where she shared captivating stories and some awesome parenting tips too! 🧒📖
