On August 23rd, the Yi Kolkata Accessibility Team and Breaking Through Dyslexia (BTD) hosted a jam-packed event with 75 pre-primary teachers from 8 schools, along with 5 Yuva! 🧑‍🏫👩‍🏫🎉 The EduFest covered essential topics, including the Montessori way of learning and respecting children's feelings. The highlight was an eye-opening session on Dyslexia, led by Divya Jalan and Shweta Vora. 🧠✨ The session revealed that 15% of children are dyslexic, with early signs identifiable by age 7. The Montessori approach aids in recognizing these signs early on. Teachers were fully engaged, asking insightful questions and sharing experiences. It was a day of learning, realization, and hope! 🚨👶📚🌈
